Authorities ID boy who drowned in pool in St. Louis Park
A 5-year-old boy who drowned in a St. Louis Park swimming pool during a birthday party Saturday has been identified. Tavaughn "TJ" Lamarr Combs Jr. died after he was found underwater in a pool at Park West Apartments, 1425 Colorado Av. S. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office said the boy was visiting the complex with his mother for a birthday party and was discovered at 2:47 p.m. in about 5 feet of water. CPR was administered, but the boy was pronounced dead at 4 p.m. at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
